Several club members travelled to Runaway Bay for the first race, a 5k event, in the Sports Super Centre series. Previously held at Sanctuary Cove, the new course and venue offers the excitement of a stadium finish, and there were several hundred competitors. The course itself was fairly flat, through residential streets and along a coned-off main road, before completing almost a full lap of the stadium to end. The next race is scheduled for Sunday 22 March. Visit Links or Calendar for links to enter.
Club members and guests enjoyed a wonderful cruise before Christmas. Check out some photos. Thanks to President Heather Kelley for organising the event.
